Kanye West is prolonging his marketing campaign for The Life of Pablo not only by delaying its retail release by a week, but also by continuing to do outlandish shit on Twitter -- like beg Mark Zuckerberg for money.

Late Sunday night (Feb. 14) Kanye hopped on Twitter and started thanking people for downloading Tidal, as it hit No. 1 in the app store. He continued about how he was rehearsing his speech for the Grammys, which he said he wouldn't attend "unless they promise [him] the Album of the Year." That quickly turned into how he knows people are "tired of music controlled by money and perception," and eventually he started addressing Mark Zuckerberg, the head and creator of Facebook.

"Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas," pleaded 'Ye. "Mark Zuckerberg I know it’s your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw. You love hip hop, you love my art… I am your favorite artist but you watch me barely breathe and still play my album in your house…World, please tweet, FaceTime, Facebook, instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me…I’m this generation's Disney… I want to bring dope shit to the world… I don’t have enough resources to create what I really can…Mark, I am publicly asking you for help…"

Kanye has a history with Facebook. In 2010, he turned up at the offices to perform new material from his then-upcoming album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Kanye also has a history of pleading for financial backing; during the lead-up to Yeezus, he made many references in interviews to the fact that he was seeking financial backing from a wealthy patron, similar to ho2 the Medici family provided funds to Michelangelo for him to do his work.
