July 4th Fireworks Shows in and Near Boise
For many people living in Idaho, the fourth of July is a special time to spend time with family, cook some barbecue over the grill, and watch exciting fireworks. Wherever you're living in the Treasure Valley, there's a number of different firework events going on.
For the city of Boise there's an always satisfying firework treat at Ann Morrison Park. Starting at 8 AM there will be a chalk art festival where anyone draw until 4 PM. There will even be awards handed out to the best chalk artists at 5 PM.
The tickets for the art festival are ten dollars for ages ten to seventeen, fifteen for ages eighteen or older, and twenty bucks for teams of two to four artists twelve and older. The fees include chalk and pastels.There will be other children's activities including a bounce house plus many food and drink vendors. There's even a children's bike parade, live bands, and a movie in the park starting at 10:45 PM of the film 'Born to be Wild'.
At Julia Davis Park there will be a Gem State Kiwanis Fourth of July pancake breakfast from 7 AM to 11 AM.
The Meridian community can enjoy a variety of fireworks at Storey Park. Before the fireworks, there will be inflatables and a climbing wall for the kids starting at 3 PM, and Meridian Speedway races begin at 6:30 PM.
Garden City is host to the Hawks and a fireworks show. There will be a baseball game against the Eugene Emeralds at the Boise Hawks Stadium followed by a fireworks display at dusk.
The Nampa community has the God and Country event at the Idaho Center on July 2nd. A fireworks show, also on July 2nd, starts at dusk.
In Caldwell there is going to be a parade which ends at the Caldwell Memorial Park followed by a fireworks show beginning at dusk.
In downtown Melba there will be a parade, an arts and crafts fair, food concessions, a car show, a variety of different games for children, antique tractor pulling, horseshoe pitching, mud volleyball, and much more. There will also be tons of stage entertainment including many live bands and mexican dancers.
Mountain Home's Desert Canyon Golf course is home to a golf tournament and a fireworks show at dusk.
Crouch in the Garden Valley hosts a duck race with games in the park for the kids followed by a fireworks display starting at dusk.
McCall's fireworks show is beautiful at dusk over the Payette lake. There are also a ton of activities to partake in during the day.
In Coeur d' Alene there will be a display of fireworks that are going to be launched from the lake.
Pocatello will be having a patriotic celebration at the Bannock County Fairgrounds followed by a fireworks display starting at dusk.
Sun Valley hosts ice skating shows featuring world class figure skaters that are presented along with a fireworks show at night.
In Idaho Falls, The Melaleuca Freedom Celebration will include a symphony orchestra concert on the banks of the Snake River along the greenbelt near the downtown area. The fireworks display is the largest in Idaho.
