I've lived in the Treasure Valley for about 2 years, and (sadly) have just made my second trip up to a very special place we could take for granted:  Table Rock.

The first time I hiked it, it was the middle of the day.  While that is certainly a great view and a hike that you can feel proud to have completed, I didn't realize how insanely beautiful the view looking down on the Valley is at sunset.

If you choose to drive up, the gate about 1/4 mile from the top is said to close at 9pm.  I didn't test that (and I've heard various accounts of that being true or hype) but you can park at the foot of the gate and enjoy the views.

I clearly wasn't the only one enjoying it when I took these pics at 8:55pm the other night.

I found a few different sources with info if you haven't checked it out recently.  BoiseTheGreat.com covers it well HERE.

I'm telling you, this is a perfect spot for a date night.  It's also just as amazing if you take it in solo.
