It’s Navy Week In Boise, This Is What You Need To Know

It's Navy Week in the Treasure Valley and that means events that highlight the Navy's best. Yesterday Idaho Gov. Butch Otter declared the kick off to the week with a proclamation to honor Navy vets and welcome the water/ air warriors to the landlocked state of Idaho. During the week there will be outdoor demonstrations including dive tank maneuvers, bomb defusing exercises and the world famous Navy Seals parachuting on to the grounds of the Western Idaho Fair.  The Fast attack USS Boise sailors will also be on hand volunteering at events at the fair all week.

I love this week, my younger brother has been in the Navy for over 6 years, and my Grandpa was a Navy vet, so this holds a special place in my families heart.
