Most people in Idaho say Butterfingers are their favorite Halloween candy.

Do you agree?  See what you think of Oregon's choice.

When I eat candy it's chocolate, and that seems to be something that's as innate to being a woman as the need for a good haircut and a great handbag.  Must have good hair, must have Michael Kors, and must have chocolate.  But when it comes to Halloween candy, the other sugary stuff rules some states.

Oregon says candy corns the fav, according to Mashable, which compiled a state-by-state list of what rules taste buds at Halloween.

I'll admit, I'm outnumbered at my house.  Mama loves chocolate, and my girls salivate over candy corns and would choose them first any day.  So I buy the candy corns and start to mix in peanuts to make that awesome and incredibly addictive Halloween trail mix that is probably also sitting on your desk at work, and the girls scream, "No!"  Just plain candy corns for them.  No protein.  All sugar.  Ok fine, it's only for three weeks during October.  And the six months after Halloween that it takes to consume all of the candy corns we've purchased on clearance.

The favorite Halloween candy in Idaho is the aforementioned Butterfinger. North Carolina agrees with us and picked that as its favorite.  Do you like 'em?  They are great crunched up on ice cream.

Washington likes AirHeads.  You can insert your own blonde joke there.

Tis the season to start splurging!  First Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and then Christmas.  It's not the cooler weather that makes us all a little more energetic.  It's all that sugar.
