Idaho is on yet another list. This time, we are ranked the number 4 best place to practice medicine in the U.S., in a new ranking by the health care industry publication Medscape. Medscape’s ranking factored in Idaho’s quality of life, and spacious, slower paced lifestyle. It also noted that while the cost of living is low and taxes are in the mid-range. It's a great place for working parents and the average physician makes $289,000.

The rankings also listed Boise as the “recommended city,” because of its easy access to trails, the Boise River, and skiing.

Is it too late to change professions?? We are so lucky to have two huge hospitals in the Treasure Valley that I feel confident taking my family if needed.
