After 10 years of trials and inventions, a North Idaho company is one step closer to a new a Solar Roadway project. this past weekend, we finally get to see the first displays of the working project in Sandpoint Idaho.

So far, the first phase of the Solar Roadways project only covers about 150-square feet in the middle of Sandpoint.

Each of the solar panels will not only display their own traffic lines and messages but will be able to melt snow and ice.
