The folks behind Edge Brewing Company channel their passion for craft beer into a diverse roster of brews, from classic IPAs to a creative habanero-spiced cream ale. These and other hopped concoctions come into their full flavor inside Edge's capacious Boise brewery, which also contains a 120-seat restaurant. Here, guests find out quickly that Edge takes its food just as serious as its beer. The menu features wings slathered in house sauces, hand-cut fries, and 1/3-pound burgers, including one buried beneath bacon and tangy peanut-butter sauce. Live bands play every Wednesday evening and on certain nights throughout the summer, when musicians notoriously sweat fresh lemonade.

The Selkirk Abbey Brewing Company is located in Post Falls in scenic Northern Idaho. The Brewery has an abbey themed tap room that is a warm, comfortable, and surprising contrast from the building’s industrial exterior.
The production floor is home to a custom built, oversized fifteen barrel direct fire brewhouse, nine fifteen barrel fermenters and just two fifteen barrel brite tanks. A typical brewery with similar equipment would be making considerably more beer than we do here at Selkirk Abbey. Our process is more demanding, more time consuming and considerably less forgiving. So we do it a little slower, and a lot more carefully. Taking our time and catering to our yeast allows us to focus on what is important, our beer. We believe that the extra time and care we give our beer, shows in the glass. We think you’ll agree.
Sockeye Brewing originated deep in the heart of Idaho, in the shadow of the Sawtooth Mountain, where the state’s iconic, wild fish—the Sockeye Salmon—begins and ends its legendary life journey. Sockeye Brewing was founded in 1996 by an Idaho native and river guide who navigated the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with his family’s outfitter business.
Fred and Linda Schuerman, Sockeye’s owners since 2004, along with brewers Josh King and Kevin Bolen, envisioned a brewing operation where science and technology could support the demand for the hand-crafted quality of Sockeye’s beer. The result is a 12,000 square foot brewing and canning facility in west Boise—a “Sockeye hatchery”—where brews are created utilizing our 20-barrel system, with a 12,000 barrel-per-year capacity. Canning is able to occur at a rate of 40 cans per minute.
Slanted Rock Brewing Company, LLC was founded in Meridian, Idaho on June 2011 by Bob Lonseth and Vincent Melchor. The Partners and additional investment from John E. MacCrisken has financed the start-up of this venture.
Slanted Rock started Operations in Fall 2012 with a 15 BBL Brewhouse, 2-15BBL Fermenters, 1- 30BBL Fermenter, 1-15BBL Brite Tank and 1-30BBL Brite Tank. Production volume will be packaged in kegs initially with hopes of adding bottle or canning in the future. Chris and Jeremy’s brewery was founded as a small startup called Wildfire Brewing in 2006, and the brothers focused on selling their beers to local bars and restaurants. It wasn’t until they changed the name to 10 Barrel Brewing Company (after the small craft brewing system) in 2009, and brought in two award-winning
brewers that business really took off. In January of 2011, Chris and Jeremy hired Jimmy Seifrit, the Brewmaster of the largest brewery in town and the largest independent brewery in the state - Deschutes Brewery.
With Jimmy’s help, the 10 Barrel Brewing team expanded to a much larger 50 barrel brewhouse and hired brewer all-star Tonya Cornett of Bend Brewing to take over the smaller 10 barrel brewhouse for special releases and product development. The 10 Barrel Brewpub, located close to downtown Bend, Oregon is hugely popular and has become a local favorite with a full restaurant and many beers on tap.
In early 2013, 10 Barrel Brewing Company expanded further, opening a pub in Boise, Idaho. This growth has greatly expanded the brewery’s presence in the pacific northwest and brothers Chris and Jeremy couldn’t be prouder of their progress. The brewing focus has remained the same since 2006 - creating unique, thought provoking and interesting beers, with an emphasis on having fun. Their philosophy encompasses both the scientific and artistic expressions of brewing and the public certainly has been responding well to the brand.
