I just made the move to the Treasure Valley from Tennessee.  We have an awesome house in Meridian that my wife, son, and I get to call home.  We're originally from the Northwest (Seattle and Spokane) so this is very exciting to come "home."

One thing hasn't been so awesome over the last few weeks.  We had a bunch of our junk in our garage.  I finally got my act together and spent hours, way-way-way too many hours, getting boxes moved, emptied, and then storage stuff organized and by last night, I was able to park my car in the garage.

Victory.

I realized something about myself in this process though.  Even though I wasn't excited to get started on this job, once I was in it, I just wanted to finish it.  It's like those productivity experts tell us;  If you hate the idea of it...do it first and finish it before you move on to something else.  Otherwise it's so easy to stop and think "I'll get back to it" and never do it.

I'd love to hear about your big jobs that you just had to do and finish.  Or if you have great advice on how to get through the stuff you just don't want to deal with, I would love to hear it.

Now, who do I talk to about getting another weekend?
