The advances made in technology these days is absolutely amazing.  In the coming years, I truly believe we could begin seeing the average human be remade into an actual super hero.  And this is a perfect example.

For over 25 years Keahi Seymour has dreamed of running fast, really really fast.  He said his inspiration came from watching a TV program about Kangaroos, when he was a kid.  The program claimed Kangaroos run very efficiently because they use their Achilles tendons as Springs.

His first prototype was made from old roller blade boots, steel tubing and bungee cords. Now after more than 200 modifications to over 200 prototypes, Seymour's new "bionic foot can help him travel at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.
