What other college majors will lead to the most money after graduation?

Glassdoor came up with the highest-paying 50 majors, and these are the Top 3:

1. Computer Science
Median Base Salary: $70,000
Popular Entry-Level Jobs: Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Web Developer
2. Electrical Engineering
Median Base Salary: $68,438
Popular Entry-Level Jobs: Electrical Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Developer
3. Mechanical Engineering
Median Base Salary: $68,000
Popular Entry-Level Jobs: Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Engineer

Engineers are all over the top ten, including civil engineers, biomedical engineers, chemical, and industrial.  Information Technology (IT) ranks 6th, and majors like mathematics, economics, and statistics round out the top ten.  Nursing ranks high too, since there's a shortage and good nurses are in high demand.

So, high school seniors, if you're applying to colleges right now and you haven't decided on a major yet, some of this might be helpful as you narrow things down. And don't forget to thank your dad for his awesome, high-paying engineering job that is about to put you through school.
