Why Do We Celebrate Veteran’s Day?

Wednesday (11/15) is Veteran's Day, a day to remember all who have served or are serving in our armed forces.  I have two sons who are currently serving, one who is currently a crew chief on a bomber in Qatar.  I am so happy so many places honor our vets and current military by offering free food and beverages.  Below is a large list of some of those places.

Keep in mind the list includes restaurants in and outside the treasure valley.  If you are offering a special to Vets for Veteran's day, please feel free to post it in the comment section below.

I know it's a very small gesture to offer a vet or military person a free meal, but believe me, it goes a long way.  I especially love the fact that the list of places offering vets free food or services seems to be growing every year.  To those businesses that offer free stuff, thank you.  My two sons appreciate it, as do I.
