In 2008, Dorian Willes was shot 21 times by Boise police. Dorian admits he was addicted to meth when he was shot by police. His right leg had to be amputated from above the knee and he was in a coma for 3 months. In the 6 years since then, Dorian lives a completely different life. He's now a college graduate, athlete, and community volunteer and he hopes to add Olympian to that list.

Dorian gives back by speaking to thousands of kids across Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Utah. He started a non profit organization called LIM359 which helps amputees stay active and shows them just because they're missing a limb doesn't mean their life has ended. He has also raised over $10,000 for colon cancer awareness.

Earlier this year he was in Calgary trying out for the first ever adaptive bobsled team for the USA. Coaches convinced Dorian to try out the Skeleton. He was a quick learner and qualified for the World Cup. Dorian has been invited to compete in the World Cups in Austria and Switzerland starting January 18th. This puts him one step closer to his dream,  the 2018 Olympics. If you believe in second chances and making amends then you'll have no trouble helping Dorian reach his goal.
