Guru Donuts Hosts Weekly Storytelling and Treats Day

We spend a lot of time reading with our two-year-old, Cooper, these days. He's been picking up on so many new words lately and seems to repeat everything we say, so we want to encourage him to keep learning new words and phrases in any way we can. Of course I was excited when I heard about an event that combines two of our favorite things - story time and donuts!

Guru Donuts is one of our favorite Boise spots for a sweet treat! Since their move to the Idanha Building on 10th and Main last year, we've become even bigger fans. If you haven't been inside, the shop is wonderfully decorated and a great place to work or grab coffee with friends.

Tomorrow, Guru is hosting their weekly "Tasty Tales"! Two, 20 minute storytelling sessions for kids in partnership with Rediscovered Books. Participants also get a special donut deal! $2.50 for a cake donut + 8 oz. kids milk OR 12 oz. adult drip coffee!

Tasty Tales begins each Tuesday at 10 a.m., with an encore at 10:30 a.m.
