One of my favorite locations in Southwest Idaho is Thousand Springs State Park. I always drive through whenever I get a chance…you know, like when I’m driving to Jackpot. I always take the cutoff through Thousand Springs instead of going through Twin Falls, just because of how pretty it is. If you’ve never had a chance to visit and check it out, make your plans in a few weeks and visit during the 1000 Springs Festival

Thousand Springs is one of Idaho’s most beautiful and unique State Parks. Some of the world’s largest fresh water springs are located there. This year, the 24th Annual 1000 Springs Festival will be held on Saturday, September 24th.

The festival offers great shopping, food and drinks, live music and fun for the entire family. You can also enjoy scenic waterfalls, canoe rides and enjoy a ride aboard a horse drawn wagon.
