Girl Writes Huge Message To Her Dad in Space

There's a 13-year-old girl in Houston, Texas named Stephanie whose dad is an astronaut on the International Space Station and she wanted to send a special message to him that he could see as he circled the earth.

Hyundai helped her design and make a message that her dad could see from space.  They had stunt drivers in 11 Hyundai Genesis sedans make a giant message in Delamar Dry Lake in Nevada.

It said "Steph (Hearts) You!" and they covered almost 60 million square feet to do it.  But it worked.  The message is visible from space and Stephanie's dad saw it.

They didn't say who her dad was, but a few news sites think that he might be Terry Virts.  He's the commander of Expendition 43 and has a teenage daughter named Stephanie.

He's set to return to Earth next month.
