If you have a son or daughter that love to play video games, then it's very likely you've heard of the game, 'Fortnite'. Well if you're wondering why your kids are so obsessed over it, doctors have an answer, and I don't think you're going to like it.

According to KTVB, medical professionals are warning parents that the video game, which is described as an "open-world survival game," that it could be as addictive as heroin. Yeah, you read that right, heroin!

A counselor who specialized in working with teenage boys, Chris McCarthy, said that when kids play the game, " it gets their dopamine systems involved releases addictive chemicals, very similar to a drug addiction. It literally causes cravings they can’t live without it they just get obsessed with it." Does that sound about right for your kids?

So how much is too much? McCarthy says if your kids are playing for more than an hour, it might be a good idea to cut back.
