First Time Fly Fishing the Boise River [PHOTOS]

I always love hitting new water and had been waiting to hit the Boise till it slowed down from summer.

There are always folks enjoying this river and it was about time that I got on it as well. The water wasn't cold and felt nice to wade in. It was flowing a little fast but that allowed for some areas for fish to feed in.

There was a nice part of the green belt right there, wooden steps down to the water and it was well taken care of. We did find a few pieces of trash there but overall seemed like a great spot to enjoy some summer fun. For us as fly fishers we can enjoy it all year long in ways.
