A great, local people behaving great story that ended up being bigger than even expected thanks to social media.

A local family dropped off dozens of bags full of clothes at Boise schools. When Amy Siddoway and her family heard that students at local elementary schools didn't have the basic clothes they needed, such as socks, coats, hat, and shoes, she decided to start a clothing drive. She posted it on social media and the idea spread like wildfire. Thousands of pieces of clothing started turning up on her doorstep.

They ended up getting so much donated that they were able to help some refugee organizations and families from this past weekend's apartment fire in Boise.

I love hearing stories like this happening right here in our community!
