Additional Information

Team Parkinson’s Idaho second annual Shake, Rattle and Stroll will be on Saturday, October 17, 2015. This event will bring people with Parkinson’s, care partners, professionals, and friends together in one place to celebrate our daily accomplishments despite our difficulties. A walking course through the Boise Towne Square Mall offers individuals a chance to exercise, raise awareness, build community bonds and raise funds all at the same time.
Team Parkinson’s is an enthusiastic group of supporters who raise funds and awareness for the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation. Now it its 15th year, Team Parkinson’s has raised over $1.2 million and inspired more than 1500 people to walk, bike, hike, and run to support the cause. Together, team members have finished more than 305,000 miles on their journey toward hope and wellness.
All funds raised through Team Parkinson’s Idaho Shake, Rattle, and Stroll further the care, support and educational efforts to improve the quality of life for people impacted by Parkinson’s in the Northwest. The NWPF is the only independent, regional organization serving the great state of Idaho.
There is no registration fee or donation minimum to join us, but walkers who raise $50 or more in donations earn a Team Parkinson’s t-shirt. All walkers must register to participate. Individual walkers and team walkers can register online at www.TeamParkinsons.org. Or if you would like to make a donation to Team Parkinson’s to support our cause, you can do so at https://www.firstgiving.com/team/302669. You can also register and donate at the event itself. Late registration begins at 8:30am and the walk begins at 9:00.
Hope to see you there!
