EARTHQUAKE! Drop Cover and Hold On

Idaho is a big earthquake area, as a matter of fact we've had more than 25 earthquakes in southern Idaho just in the past few months...with a 3.2 temblor in Soda Srings just last week.  Believe it or not Idaho is one of the top earthquake states in the Nation and Thursday, 10/20 you can take part in getting prepared for an earthquake.

Millions of people worldwide will practice how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On at 10:20 a.m. on October 20* during Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills!

Idahoans can join them by registering for the 2016 Great Idaho ShakeOut. Participating is a great way for your family or organization to be prepared to survive and recover quickly from big earthquakes– wherever you live, work, or travel. ShakeOut is also a major activity of America's PrepareAthon!
