Dropping My Son Off At Sleep-Away Camp

Yesterday was a big day for my family.
We dropped my 12 year old off for his first sleep-away camp experience.

We have never gone a day without talking and now I'm bracing myself for a whole week of no contact. Don't get me wrong, I know it's going to be an incredible experience for him and he will learn so much, I just miss him already!

What age do you send your kids to sleep-away camp? How do you get through the agonizing week of missing them?
