Halloween is always a fun holiday, but especially for the kids who love to get dressed up and collect candy as they are trick-or-treating. When I was a kid it was a challenge between my siblings and I to collect the most candy then spend lots of time sorting, trading, and eating way more candy than we need.

I often hear from parents especially my siblings how times have changed and both parents and children have to be more careful while trick-or-treating and celebrating the holiday. That's why I love to hear about fun community events going on like the Downtown Nampa Trick-or-Treat taking place on Wednesday, October 31st (Halloween) from 3 to 5 p.m.

The event will be all over downtown Nampa, but especially the businesses  around the Public Square/Plaza. I got the information from the famous Messenger Pizza, so if you are looking for a place to collect candy in the afternoon before it gets too dark this could be perfect for you and the kiddos.
