Don’t Buy These Things Used

I love garage sales! I loved buying used jeans! So I am super pumped for Idaho's Largest Garage Sale on Saturday. But not all items are okay to buy used. Here is a list of items to pass by.

Like I said, I love garage sales! I don't usually hold one on Skid Row, instead I'm the one that will shop at your yard sale. You will see me all over Expo Idaho on Saturday looking for great deals. Used jeans are always on the top of my list to find at garage sales. Purses that I never could afford new are also a good find.

There are some items though that should not be purchased used. Kudos though if you are the seller of said items and actually make money off these used things. In my opinion there are certain things you never buy used:

• Swimsuits
• Underwear
• Bed sheets
• Pajamas
• Plungers
• Toilet brushes
• Hair brushes
• Make-up
• Toothbrushes
• Body lotion
• Soap
• Shampoo/Conditioner
• Basically any personal hygene products
• Vitamins
• Any food

You might be chuckling at this list and thinking, who would buy used food?! I have seen someone selling opened jars of peanut butter at a garage sale before. YUCK! I hope that wasn't a sale they closed on!
