More than 20 dogs were rescued from the devastating floods in Louisiana and were flown into Boise by the non-profit organization, Dog Is My Co-Pilot.

The flood obviously put a huge strain on the shelters after so many people had to surrender their pets after losing everything.

Most of the dogs will be staying at the Idaho Humane Society in Boise and should be available for adoption beginning early next week.
