Dinner in Meridian on Friday Night Was So Much Fun!

When was the last time you can remember dinner being a fun experience? If you're anything like Savannah and I, dinner is more of a chore than anything else. It always begins with 5-10 minutes of playing the fun game of "I don't know what do you want for dinner". That's why on Friday when we all left the table with a smile I knew it truly was an amazing experience.

It started by having one of my wife's best friends coming into town, it's tremendous that she has both her sister and mother living here in the Treasure Valley so during the trip she gets to see friends and family. Jennifer and her family, decided that we would go to Izumi's Japanese Steakhouse in Meridian and it was incredible.

While I was excited to see everyone having never been to Izumi's before I wasn't that excited. I have gone to hibachi grills before and the last one was just mediocre, but I was trying to be positive walking into this one. From moment one I was blown away, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was fantastic.

To be clear, I am not getting compensated for writing this. It was just nice to walk away from a meal feeling like I got a show that accompanied the yummy things on my plate. I got the steak and it was cooked perfectly. After a great experience like that I am excited for more friends and family to visit so we can go back to my favorite new Japanese Steakhouse.
