This has been one crazy winter in southwest Idaho. We’ve seen record snowfall and we’re now seeing massive amounts of snow melt and run off…which means spectacular waterfalls. Southern Idaho is home to a large number of water falls that are all pretty amazing right now. Take a look….

The big one is of course Shoshone Falls, one of my favorites. Known as the Niagara of the West, Shoshone Falls is actually taller than Niagara and it’s not the only amazing water fall that is within a short distance to the Treasure valley

Thanks to only in your state for sharing some of these amazing locations. Take a look at the videos below and see why the Twin Falls area has earned the nickname of the City of Waterfalls.

If you’re into seeing some or all these waterfalls this spring, you are in luck as all are within 3 hours of Boise…so grab your family, the video camera and have some fun exploring some of the great water falls of Southern Idaho
