Did You Know Idaho Had This Many Active Hate Groups?

Idaho, I think most would agree is pretty great…or else we wouldn’t be living here right? But as great as our state is, we are not perfect. Like other states, we unfortunately have hate groups too..and no, it’s not just Aryans in Northern Idaho. Would it surprise you to know that there are eight official hate groups here in Idaho?

Yes, there are angry and hateful people all around us, but these are actual organized groups of hate that are stationed here in Idaho.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center there are 829 hate groups across the whole United States. The web site shows exactly where each group is based out of, and what their hate is targeted towards.

In Idaho there are 8 groups which isn’t a lot but its eight too many.  And compared to Utah with only 2 and 6 in Montana, and only 4 in Nevada it is extremely surprising and disturbing that we have that many recognized hate groups

There are two groups of Skinheads, a group of Neo-Nazis, Holocaust Denial groups in Couer D’Alene, and even just a group of general hate.

I get it, nobody is perfect and we have probably all been angry at some time or another, but good grief, organizing into a hate group is horrible and dumb and it makes all of us Idahoans look bad.

Idaho is too great for hate….like it, love it, live it.  Let’s do our best to get this list to zero.
