Southwest Idaho was a rocking Monday, thanks to an earthquake that hit north of Boise, Monday afternoon. But you might not have noticed, because it wasn’t very big. As a matter of fact, it only registered 2.5 on the Richter scale.

The The USGS reported that the epicenter was located about an hour north of Boise near Cascade, Idaho.

Idaho is a big earthquake area and even though this one wasn't very big, major quakes have occurred in central Idaho with the 1983 Borah Peak quake being the largest.

2.5 definitely isn't big, and most people wouldn't even notice it, but I'm curious if any of our listeners did feel it.  If you felt it, leave a comment below or on our Facebook page
