Crime Increase In Eagle Subdivisions

Eagle Police say about a dozen residents who accidentally left doors open or unlocked this summer were targeted.

Laguna Pointe, a subdivision along Eagle Road, was targeted just a few days ago, and, Lexington Hills, on Floating Feather Road near Highway 55.

Police believe the culprits are cruising through neighborhoods in the area and committing crimes of opportunity.

The best way to avoid being a victim is to make sure all doors around your house and your car are locked at all times. Don’t leave your garage door opener visible in your car either if it’s in the driveway.
