As the Treasure Valley continues to grow, we've definitely needed work on some of our roads.  Starting tomorrow, crews will begin work on Meridian Road.

The Ada County Highway District is alerting us to work that will impact travel on the south side of the intersection of Meridian and Ustick.  Local access will still be available most times, but through traffic will have to find another option.

Crews will be installing replacement pipes underneath the existing roadway, and then installing a new road once that work has been finished.

ACHD told KTVB Newschannel 7 that drivers can expect this:

  • All businesses and residences will be accessible
  • Through traffic will be detoured around the closure to Linder, Locust Grove, and Fairview and Cherry Lane
  • Ustick Road will remain open at the intersection (with Meridian), but with lane restrictions
  • Flaggers will direct traffic during work hours
  • The closure is expected to last through February 27, but the schedule will dependent on weather conditions.
