A group of Boise Firefighters will be competing at the Stairclimb Challenge in Seattle early next year. They climb for a cause and could use the entire community's support.

Over 50 Boise Firefighters are headed to Seattle to climb 69 floors, 1311 stairs, gaining 780 feet in elevation as they do, all with about 50-55 pounds of gear on their backs. Plus they'll be breathing through their masks every step of the way!
The Boise Firefighter team, "Climb, Conquer, Cure" is competing in the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb 2015 to benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society whose mission is to: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The Boise firefighters have already raised close to $17,000. Their goal is $75,000.
