Camera Catches White Van Trying to Abduct Nampa Kids

UPDATE: Nampa Police have confirmed that the van was a delivery van and there was no attempted child abduction.

There was a possible attempted child abduction on Tuesday night in the neighborhood of Hillside Manor in southwest Nampa, near Greenhurst and Midland roads.

A father posted video surveillance on his Facebook page warning parents about a white van that pulled up in front of his house, a man jumped out and ran into the driveway after his daughter and her friend. He said that something spooked him and he dove back into the sliding door of the van and it drove off.

Thank goodness for cameras on properties in this neighborhood! This is definitely a scary thought and hopefully with the information he has passed on to authorities and the footage he was able to get, they will find the people with the van and find out exactly what happened.
