First I want to thank every law enforcement officer across our great nation. The job they have is not easy, it's not a safe job, yet they continue to work to make our communities safer so I appreciate them. So, when they are putting together a fun day by hosting a Cornhole Tournament we should all join in on the fun and help out the cause.

The 1st Annual Back The Blue Cornhole Tournament is set for Saturday, October 13th from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell. This fundraising event is set up to work toward their goal of a new training facility and funding for the Caldwell Police Department K-9 unit.

On the day of the event you can expect food, drinks and music to keep everyone having a good time. This is a double elimination tournament going all day long and all proceeds going for a good cause to make sure to tell your friends and more importantly get signed up.

To register or be an event sponsor reach out to Lt. Joey Hoadley at jhoadley@cityofcaldwell.org or by phone at 208-455-4567.
