Caitlyn Jenner made a splash yesterday with the unveiling of the Vanity Fair cover. Can we admit that she looks pretty dang good?  The famous photographer Annie Leibovitz took the pics, and captured a look that kinda looks like pretty person taking a big sigh of relief, at peace.

I was on a Tinder date with a guy last night and we talked about Bruce Jenner.  My date said he didn't fully understand it, but to him it was one of those "live and let live" things, and he could support it.  It takes guts to be true yourself sometimes.  My daughters have two moms, so to some extent I'm familiar with having to face some judgin' now and then.  I'm still very close with the gay and transgender community and love it when people are true to themselves no matter how hard that makes things, and no matter how much criticism they face.

Caitlyn Jenner is going to get an award for courage in July at the ESPY Awards.  The Arthur Ashe Award goes to someone "possessing strength in the face of adversity, courage in the face of peril and the willingness to stand up for their beliefs no matter what the cost," according to ESPN.com.  The ESPYs happen July 15th on ABC.

Oh, and why Caitlyn with a C and not a K?  TMZ says it's to break from all the K's with the Kardashians.   Nothing wrong with a little individuality.
