For far too long the crown of craft and micro brews has been handed to Portland and Seattle. Yes they are both bright shining stars of the Pacific Northwest and brilliant places to get a great nitro beer, or hard cider.  July 23rd to 30 for eight glorious days Boise will be THE place to be for the beer lover in all of us. Bittercreek Ale House will be hosting a Funk Fest taking the adventurous type on a tour of wild and sour beers made right here in the City of Trees. The Ale House which has hosted all kinds of events and beer tasting events has continued to welcome thirsty Boiseans and hard working business types for over 21 years...not to mention was one of my very first jobs. Wanna find out more? Boise Weekly Online just posted the event to there page of #To-Do's and you can get to picking which sours and wilds. Best of Luck. - JD
