WHOA! That was a lot of rain in the Treasure Valley yesterday. So much so that it broke records. According to the Idaho Statesman, as of 7 p.m. yesterday (10/09), Boise received 0.93 inches of rain. It's the most rainfall in all of 2018 and the most since June of last year. The National Weather Service said yesterday's showers broke the daily record for October 9 that was previously set back in 1911 with 0.61"!

The rain we got yesterday was the most in a day in October since Oct. 12, 2000. How much rain does Boise usually see?  According to the Statesman, Boise typically gets "0.75 inches of precipitation on a given day just once a year."

So, is this rain supposed to stick around? Doesn't look like it. At least according to my weather app, Boise is looking at nice and sunny skies with temps ranging from 59 degrees tomorrow (10/11) to a high of 65 next Friday.
