A Boise State runner finished in 2nd place in the NCAA cross country championships last fall, but then suffered a knee injury that kept her out of competition in the spring.

She's recovered now and she's back on the track.  How great would it be if the big comeback takes her all the way to the Olympic Games in Rio?

KTVB says Allie Ostrander is the only collegian declared in the field, and she'll compete next week in the Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon.

She'll run in the 5000 meter event.  The first round is Thursday, July 7th and the finals will be Sunday, July 10th.  Good luck Allie!
