Burying a bunch of 3-pointers helped the Broncos get their 19th win of the season on Saturday, and they set a school record in the process.  The hit 11 of their first 12 shots, and just kept going.

Boise State said on Twitter that they made a school-record 20 three-pointers at Air Force, also tying the Mountain West record.

And that explains #CityofThrees on social media.  Watch all of the record-setting baskets HERE.  The Broncos made over half of the 3 pointers that they attempted, and finished shooting 58.8 percent from behind the arc.

They're 19-10 on the season now, and the Broncos earned the #3 seed in the Mountain West Conference tournament that starts Wednesday in Las Vegas.

The Broncos will play Thursday at 7:30pm Mountain Time, against the winner of the San Diego State vs. UNLV game.  If they win Thursday, the Broncos play Friday night and if they win that game, they'll move on to the conference championship game Saturday afternoon.

One more win and it's a 20-win season, and that's something that helps gain respect in the NCAA tournament pairings and March Madness.  But first things first with that Mountain West championship in reach.  Go Broncos!
