The accolades just keep coming for Boise State's Allie Ostrander.

After winning an NCAA track title two weeks ago, she's got a prestigious Mountain West award to go with it.

Ostrander was recently named the Mountain West Women's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Year as a red-shirt freshman, and that's voted on by coaches.  She won the same honor for the indoor season in 2016.

Ostrander won a national title in the women’s 3000 Steeplechase earlier this month with a time of 9 minutes, 41.31 seconds at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships in Eugene, Oregon. That steeplechase time was the best by any collegiate runner this year. She’s the first freshman to win the NCAA steeplechase title in eleven years.

Boise State says Ostrander picked up first team All-America honors in two events this year, and that's three All-America honors so far in her career.

And the rest of us lesser runners are just trying to find running socks that we like, and remember to register for Fit One in Boise this September.  Wow....if we achieve half of her awesomeness, we'll be doing good.  Congrats, Allie.
