Not every team can get away with it, but since orange is already a part of the Boise State color scheme, breaking out the black and orange alternate helmets for Halloween worked smooth like buttah.  Did you like 'em?

CBS Sports said the helmets were waiting for the guys in the locker room Saturday before the game at UNLV, and some players even modeled them for Twitter before the game.  I loved the metallic orange facemasks!  Why not.  There was a Bronco on one side of the helmet and the players' number on the other side.  Like 'em?  Should they wear the black and orange helmets again?

Uniforms have come a long way in the past few years, and every team has an alternate or two.

Don't look now, but the Broncos are in first place in the Mountain Division after the 55-27 win at UNLV.  They scored 28 points in the fourth quarter and racked up over 700 yards of offense in the game.  Maybe the black and orange helmets were a good luck charm!

And next season your kiddo can snag one of these and be a Bronco for Halloween.
