Our son originally was going to college to become a police officer. That changed recently, mostly because of the way he sees police officers being treated. That combined with low wages...high stress and the possibility that at any moment he could be killed changed his mind. As a father, I have to admit, I was proud that he had chose to become a police officer, but I am more happy that he has decided against it.

Don't get me wrong, I have many friends and even some relatives who serve, but with the treatment of police by some people in this country, I am a little bit more happy, knowing that is one less thing I have to worry about.
