Well, here we go again. The Treasure Valley has made another prestigious list. It just keeps getting better and better. Not only are we a "Welcoming City" as passed by the city council last week, Boise is getting even more national attention thanks to a new poll from US News & World Report.

Scrolling past the stories on the Today Show whenever the hometown gets a little love, you know I have to jump all over it. The 2017 list of Best Places In The US have been unveiled and these are some of the highlighted cities....So where did Boise land?

5: Fayetteville AR

4: Washington DC

3: San Jose, CA

2: Denver, CO

1: Austin, TX

Unfortunately, our City of Trees did not make the Top 5 or even the Top 10, but we slid in there at number 12. Still a respectable showing. And they even had some nice things to say about BOI as well. "Boise is a recreationist's paradise. If you value the outdoors and time spent among rivers, mountains, canyons, deserts and lakes – and all the activities encapsulated therein – it's worth a serious look." Thanks ya'll . We love it here too. - JD
