What makes a good steak varies from person to person.  Well-done isn't too appealing for someone who likes that fancy pants tartare stuff. But one Boise steakhouse hits enough high points with all of us that it's been named the Best Steakhouse in Idaho.

MSN.com says Chandler's gets credit for it's "live music, fabulous service, and complimentary valet parking," and Foursquare says for that reason it's the perfect place to enjoy some quality beef.  The actual steaks must be good too.

Ever had a steak sandwich there?  In it's review, MSN said customers love the filet sliders with pommes frites in a truffle oil dusting.  And the salmon is pretty soft and juicy and well-seasoned too, but that's just me talkin'.  And it's not steak, and steak is the reason for this love for Chandler's after all.

Congrats to Chandler's on the national notice, and while we're at it, we should give some high fives to the meat that comes off of your back yard grill too.  We heard that's pretty amazing, and we thank you for the smokey barbecue perfume that floats across the Treasure Valley every Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening.

Yay steaks! One of the biggest steak days of the year is coming up on the 4th of July.  We'll be ready to eat.
