Boise's Capital City Public Market has been doing its thing since 1994, and it's been noticed by one major site for being the best in Idaho.

Capital City Public Market is open from 9:30am to 1:30 pm on Saturdays through December, and MSN says it's the best in Idaho for fresh produce, pastries, and creative things made by local artisans.

MSN picked the best farmer's market in every state, and picked ours because as they put it, "Fresh produce is only the beginning at this Boise market—they also feature torched glassworks, gourmet foods, pastries, and homemade soaps."

And it's a good family outing, or date day.  It's fun to walk around and take in all the pottery, art, wines, veggies, noodles, and coffee.  Don't forget the coffee.

Foodies continue to be focused on farm-to-table and fresh ingredients, and the farmer's market is a great way to get that, and support the local economy at the same time.  And this is more proof that Boise is leading the charge in Idaho.
