Bogus Basin kicks of their summer season today! Opening day activities include live music, chairlift services, hiking, biking, disc golf, and great food and drinks.

The Deer Point chair lift, which offers access to the top of Deer Point Mountain for biking, hiking, and sight-seeing, will operate from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends. It will also be operating on Monday July 4th and Monday September 5th for special holiday hours from 11am-4pm. Lift prices are $10 for a single ride, $25 for all day access, and $99 for a full summer season pass for the lift.

Another improvement to summer activities is the Music on the Mountain series sponsored by 10 Barrel Brewing Co. Today marks the first of four all-day music festivals held during the summer. The live music will run all day from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Many of the summer activities at Bogus are free to visitors. The live music, disc golf, hiking, and mountain biking are all no cost activities. The Bogus Creek Bar and Grill at the Simplot Lodge does rent golf discs and offers a great menu of food items along with a full bar for adults. For more information visit bogusbasin.org.
