Today is just too beautiful to be inside. The weather has finally hit a really nice pace and we are in the 70's today. I'm sure you are just like me when I say, there is no way I'm staying inside on a day like this.

Even though the sun is shining and the temps are spring like, some of us still might need to get a little work done before the weekend is over. I'm currently doing exactly that. Sitting at a McDonald's in Eagle taking in the amazing Spring weather, and getting work finished. Two Birds with One Stone right. LOL.

There are so many places around the Treasure Valley to get the work done while enjoying your surroundings. I've found the top 5 in my book to let you enjoy and get that last minute deadline accomplished.

  1. McDonald's Restaurants- Literally any McD's will get you set up with a good snack or meal to go along with the instant access to WiFi no matter how long you need it.
  2. Big City Coffee- Located on 1416 Grove St. Between 14th and 15th in Downtown Boise this was voted top of the list at the start of the new year for easy internet access and service with a smile. I hear that the Italian Soda's are amazing.
  3. Barbacoa- Sitting next to Parkcenter Pond and getting your work done while eating some of there famous Guac is enough to get me going.
  4. Modern Hotel & Bar- Another Downtown Boise jewel Modern has been voted many times as one of THE Best according to Boise Weekly. Best Cocktail and Bartender is a great start now add great places for FREE Wifi.
  5. Goldy's Breakfast Bistro- Want a great Milkshake, Breakfast and service with an outstanding smile, Boise has a hidden gem. It's Goldy's. I remember going here in High School and the food hasn't changed one bit, still the best. If you go make sure to order the sweat potato hash browns. They are to DIE for ! It just keeps getting better with great reception for your internet needs.

Now remember these are just a few of the place's I've found it easy to log in and get your work finished on the fly. I'd love to hear if you've found other hot spots in the Valley that you wouldn't mind sharing. Enjoy this weekend and the weather. - JD
