Idaho Bar Owners have been sharing concerns about legislation in the state for months, and now say they are moving forward with a lawsuit against the State of Idaho.

Lawmakers had made some changes to the original legislation that had started the controversy, but bar owners feel it is still problematic.  State law currently bans serving alcohol during nude or so-called explicit live performances.  There was a modification to exempt some businesses.

This lawsuit, brought by Shannon Fairchild and Levi Burden who own The Intersection in New Meadows, was filed in an attempt to reverse fines they had received for violating the standing law in 2015.  Even though the law has been amended from how it read then, the couple is proceeding with their lawsuit.
