Bad Dad or Not?

A man recently made an amazing catch of a foul ball at a Chicago Cubs game.  But he has been taking some heat because some people are said that he is a bad dad for what he did.

I say he is a great dad, taking his young child to spend some bonding time with his kid. First this is an amazing catch and I don't see how the baby is in any danger at any time.  Now I will grant you that he doesn't look like he's as comfortable as he could be, by the way he's being held, but DAD CAUGHT THE BALL FOR CRIPES SAKE!
