I’ve never met a stranger in my entire life. I talk to everyone and want to know everything. People fascinate me. I know I freaked out my mom as a child because she would realize I wasn’t by her side then frantically look for me at a store and find me chatting it up with someone at the makeup counter. That part of me never changed. Add social media into the mix and it’s a beautiful disaster. I am a basic girl by nature who would love to be home in yoga pants watching Netflix but I’m always living in this middle ground area because I suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out) and really want to be where everyone else is. It’s safe to say that I’m an idea addict but really need someone to bring me down from the clouds in order to make things happen. However, I can organize just about anything. So why don’t these personality traits find a way to merge themselves? Along with all the life stuff, I’ve been given this responsibility of raising a future president. He’s in a 9-year old body right now but soon the signs will start popping up in people’s front yards “COLTON for President 2040”. I just got married - for the second time. I said I would never do it again because I was going to be a strong, independent single mom. I accidentally fell in love. Now Janice is stuck with me. Combine all of these things together (and always running late) and you have a Tawsha. Is there more to me? Yes. How much time do you have? We should talk.

Dad Starts Petition to Make Dove’s ‘Real Beauty’ More Real
A dad hopes to help kids, just like his daughters, understand that the photos of models in magazines and on billboards aren't what they look like in real life. Because kids don't have the ability to understand what they are seeing, his mission is to require ads be labeled weather or not the images have been drastically altered. It's not looking like anyone is ready for that kind of truth.

Taylor Swift’s Incredible Duet With Cancer Patient
Taylor Swift is just one of those people you can't help but want to be around. She is full of goodness. Love or hate her music, Taylor's heart is what attracts me to her. I'm sure Children's Hospital patient, Jordan, would agree.

YouTube ‘How-To’ Video Result: Short Hair
This is the very first time I've watched a "how-to" video and followed through with it. The Makeup Nation posted how to get those beach waves in short hair. HOOKED! I've tried over and over again only to look like a poodle with that too-curly hair. This time was different.

Man With No Arms Throws First Pitch
It's pretty typical to invite someone to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball game. I guess that's what makes it so "ceremonial," right? Most times, the person pitching uses their arms. Not in this case.
A Love Letter to Boise
She didn't have the passion for our city when she moved from New York but over the years, Red Sky PR firm CEO, Jess Flynn is now calling herself a born-again Boisean. And, just a note: Boise isn't the next Bend, it's not the next Austin and it's not the next Boulder. It's the next Boise. Pronounced "boy-see" by the way. This love letter to Boise reminds us why we love it so much.
